|Introduction||I am a Young Adult Librarian at the Lakewood Branch of the Ocean County Library system. I have been dubbed a "Tech-Geek" by fellow members of the Information Technologies section of the NJLA. They are probably right, I'll just have to live with the title. My specific interests in technology deal with Podcasting, Blogging, Social Networks, and how teens use each. Recently, I had the honor of being asked to finish writing John Iliff's chapter on Podcasting in LITA's upcoming publication. I also blog under the name of The Rock & Roll Librarian. It contains many professional articles as well but also allows me to write about my personal interests as well. One of these is my obsession with graphic novels. On average, I probably read three a week but would certainly read more if they weren't so expensive. One of my life goals is to write and draw one my own graphic novel based on one of many different story ideas I have. If you care to have your ear bent, ask me about music. I am a guitarist, singer, bassist and have recorded many originals. If interested, you can listen to some of them at www.myspace.com/rooso Just don't say I didn't warn you.|

Unlike a dog, how can a turtle ever be naked?
Never ask this question to a person with a very large rock in hand...
