Introduction | Hello, it's me, Lisa, or Veggiechick for short. (smile) Nickname because Im a vegetarian. Im restarting to blog because I miss writing. I like to read what others have to say about anything and everything. Life, opinions, truths, untruths and basically anything that they find a passion for. |
Interests | Reading, learning, interesting conversation, my beautiful dogs, hiking, mountains, camping, movies, family and friends. |
Favorite Movies | Too many to list and when I'm asked it's even harder to remember. Im going to see On the waterfront for the umpteenth time at the actual movie theater. I do like classics, in English or not, though I only speak English at the time. Some fun favorites are Pulp fiction, Fargo, lock stock and two smoking barrels, snatch, blue velvet, Eternal sunshine, too too many to list. If I go before the 60's I can name a gazillion! Anyway, point is I enjoy many kinds of movies, and as long as they are well done, or just crazy funny, Im there! |
Favorite Music | Same bit really as with movies. I like most every genre. Country is my least favorite, although I hum a song or two sometimes. I think I can appreciate a lot of music, from a lot of places. Pick a mood, I'll pick a song! |
Favorite Books | Here we go again. I've read so many books I sometimes forget them, and read them again. I like a good mystery, and my favorite fun book to pick up and lay in bed all day and finish would be a Steven King. The king of personalities, and actually being able to let the reader know who a character really is. I like books that have some meaning, and those who don't. I usually am reading fiction, but I enjoy anything other than a manual showing how to put together a table. I think if I was on a desert island, I may choose to read instead of the television. :) |
What's the earliest you've gotten up to watch cartoons and what did you see?
That is hard to say. I only got up early when I was a kid to watch cartoons. I would have to say that I stayed up all night once watching random repeats of shows I liked and missed when I was a kid, and my dad worked at a television station during the night. I watched all the shows and cartoons I wanted. I still watch cartoons, the last one was Futurama.
