Introduction Kappa Delta Pi (KDP), International Honor Society in Education, is a diverse community of exemplary educators ranging from preservice teachers in undergraduate programs to graduate and doctoral students, classroom teachers, administrators, counselors, university faculty, and researchers. We serve our 45,000 members by providing practical support, networking, and professional development opportunities in all phases of their careers. KDP Publications include the New Teacher Advocate, a quarterly periodical with helpful, how-to articles for first-year teachers; the Kappa Delta Pi Record, a peer-reviewed journal providing practical insights and strategies for the classroom teacher; and The Educational Forum, a doubly masked, peer-reviewed journal offering thought-provoking essays and research reports on current topics in education. KDP is proud to have 600 chapters across the United States on college campuses as well as professional chapters and online groups. Our collegiate chapters provide student leaders, faculty, and administrators with opportunities for professional development, service learning, and leadership.
