| Introduction | Artistic endeavor runs in my family, where early on, we were brought to appreciate the power and beauty of visual images. I have always been interested in the dramatic possibilities of line, color, form, and especially light, as it transforms ordinary scenes and objects. My ideal medium of expression is watercolor, with its special qualities of fluidity and transparency. I enjoy the challenge of translating diverse, mostly representational subject matter into light-filled watercolors, with an emphasis on the elements of landscape, figure painting, still life and architecture. |
