Introduction Hello! I’m Audrey Grey and this is my portfolio of sorts. I was born strong willed and was a precocious child. I got lost for awhile in my 20s, living a life in which I tried to be something else for someone else and that didn’t go well at all. My 30s were an adventure full of perils and wrong turns, leaving me continuously wiser and tougher until I became fireproof (please note I am not literally fireproof). As I prepare to enter my 40s, I look back at where I’ve come from and feel grateful I survived the fires, even if I am old and exhausted from persevering. But I also feel young and at the prime of my life, knowing 20 years from now I am likely going to be somebody’s grandmother. It’s a mixed bag. What I know for certain is that it’s time I start writing and putting myself out there. As a kid, I wanted to be a writer and I think it’s about time I made 10 year old me proud.
