Introduction	For more than 3 decades I have rescued and provided a good home to innumerable stray cats and kittens -- most of which came to my door. I have provided them with a clean, highly sanitary home environment, neutering and spaying and regular health checkups (with the generous help of a supportive veterinary clinic), good food and a warm congenial place to spend their lives. They have been a great source of happiness and joy to me and many others. I have started this blog to introduce you to my feline friends and to discuss issues in the care of cats and particular issues that we face in the West Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago.
