About me

Gender MALE
Industry Non-Profit
Occupation Director of Operations, Peninsula Covenant Church
Location Redwood City, CA
Introduction I grew up in a small town in the Santa Cruz Mountains and experienced the power and effectiveness of communities truly being together. My wife, Melanie, of 21 years, and I, moved our family from the Santa Cruz Mountains to Redwood City in 1997 when I took a position with Peninsula Covenant Church. I was appointed to the Planning Commission in 2001; reappointed unanimously in ’04 and ’07 and served 2 back-to-back terms as Chairperson. I believe I have the core strengths (Focus, Analytical, Achiever, Maximizer, Communicator) to lead our community long into the future and so I am running for City Council (November 3rd, 2009). MY FAMILY...Melanie is involved in coaching sports at various levels, including as the JV head softball coach for the Woodside High Lady Wildcats. Our daughters, Jessica, Heather and Megan are involved in sports and a variety of other activities in our community.
