| Introduction | I have been shooting and training with handguns since 1992. i am the owner and founder of Precision Defense Firearms Training in Texas. Since 9/11, I have been teaching people how to safely handle their firearms, as well as train them on tactics and combat mindset. Almost 20 years of progressive and successful experience in safe weapons use and employment. I've taught techniques to professionals such as military personnel preparing for deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan. I developed curricula and integrated effective training and program development leveraging technology and equipment without any firearms related accidents. My goal is to serve the needs of the student and in the case of advanced students to teach those firearm skills that would help them during periods of stress and uncertainty or enhance their existing skills to improve their performance. Many of the skills I possess have been learned during training and competing with Agents of the US Border Patrol, San Antonio Police Department, Executive Protection Personnel, and for the last four years with a retired Special Forces Operator. | Interests | I enjoy training civilians and military on weapons. I also like to read articles, lectures, and books on particle physics by Ed Witten and Brian Greene, study rifle ballistics, and doing mathematics. I also love composing and playing the piano, bellydancing, and studying German, Russian and Eastern Arabic languages. |
