| Introduction | I have been a social studies educator for the past six years. I have had several opportunities to investigate education from many different lenses. I spent a year co-teaching a World Geography course alongside the special education department chairperson. I have also worked alongside technology specialists to assist with rolling out a new student information system in my school district. In addition, I have been accepted to several international fellowships that have allowed me to travel to Asia, Africa and Europe to study foreign education systems. Through these opportunities I have had the privilege to collaborate with teachers across the United States and abroad to design international lessons that have pushed my students to examine critical issues from a globalized perspective. |
