| Introduction | I grew up in a time, a place, and a culture dominated by the automobile. As a former native of Detroit, my experience with cars was perhaps more intense than many others. Early on I was captivated by their styling, fascinated by their mechanics and motivated by their potential. The 1960s still fascinate us with the advent of muscle cars and wholesale changes is music and societal attitudes. Here you will find glimpses back to those times. With this site I wish to illuminate those influences that automobiles have had on me and how they interjected themselves into my life. Posts will touch on vehicles I’ve owned and other special cars that I’ve experienced. I hope that you, the reader, will reflect on how your own experiences were aided by a special car or two. |
