| Introduction | After a beautiful wedding in June, Paul and Nikki packed up all of their books and stoop-sale kitchen utensils and headed from quaint Brooklyn to colder-and-almost-Canada Rochester, NY. When Paul’s not delivering delicacies out of the kitchen, he’s working to become the next principal for Uncommon Schools Inc. Paul’s day job involves teaching Math to 6th graders and occasionally starring as Darth Vader in school honor assemblies. Nikki tries to keep her sanity by creating reading packets for young adult novels and flying back to Brooklyn to work at her old school. She also bakes at least one cake or tart a week and has a “voice” crush on Brian Lehrer. When they both need a break from the kitchen they take Watts, their adorable & high energy Boston terrier, out to the park. The fresh air and sense of nature calms them all down. When it’s too cold for a walk they eagerly await the new season of Top Chef to begin! This summer they’ll be packing up all of their new books and kitchen gadgets (which they swore they wouldn’t buy) and moving once again to Troy, NY. This is where Paul will start his school and Nikki will keep baking. |
