| Introduction | When times are interesting,I write, when wanting to chill, I paint. My one complaint: there is never enough time. 2012-2015 have been painting years,with an explosion of Chinese Dragons, pet mug designs and glass-painted bathroom tiles. Lately, in 2016 I've begun a new adventure with encaustic wax. I make the coloured waxes myself with a combination of oil paints, beeswax and resin. Still experimenting, and have gone from the more traditional smooth creations achieved with an iron, to more sculptural 3D pictures which lend themselves to being touched and felt, as well as seen. |
| Interests | PAINTING:murals, glass, Chinese Brush, pastels, acrylics, humorous and political painting. WRITING: Teenage, younger children's fiction and cautionary tales. Adult poems and short stories with a dark edge. |
