| Introduction | Amanda Korchia is from Silver Spring, Maryland. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore and her MBA from University of Maryland University College. She has ten years of experience in the finance field, and currently works as a business financial manager and travel specialist for the Department of Defense, where she helps military and civilian personnel travel for duty. In her spare time, she began a blog to document her travels and life experiences, and has become a travel and positive lifestyle guru to friends and family. So far, Amanda's travels have included many U.S. cities, as well as international destinations in Europe, Asia, Central America, and the Caribbean. In 2015, she made her dream of living in paradise a reality and moved to Hawaii, where she enjoys beach hopping, hiking, and snorkeling. She is currently writing a travel book and planning the launch of her business. She aims to not only encourage people to live their dreams by exploring the world and experiencing foreign cultures, but also to help people realize that traveling is more affordable, attainable, and important than they imagined! |
