| Introduction | My husband I have lived in Mexico for thirty.five years. Twenty-five years were in the popular beach town (city now) of Puerto Vallarta, where I worked as a consular agent for the U.S. Government fourteen years. We now live in the grouwing mountain village of Talpa de Allende. Many of the locals now live in the USA, primarily California. My listed interests have been curtailed in the past few years, due to advanced macular degeneration. I enjoy promoting the artwork of the young folks in our area, and have organized successful regional art exhibitions for them. I am fluent in Spanish and have taught English as a second language. I directed my own Englis/Spanish school in Puerto Vallarta. I like to cook and entertain our friends frequently. I'm currently working on a manuscript in which I will include Deep Sout and gringo-ized Mexican recipes. Although I am not a Roman Catholic, I live in a town where there are no other religions. I am a strong believer in Christianity. We live in harmony with our Mexican neighbors. |
