Introduction | "Retired as a senior manager (25+ years of experience), in corporate and government work (2005) after a serious battle with Sickle Cell Disease. Devoting his time writing and advocating for Sickle Cell research and cure. He is a staunch critic of the health care system, medical insurance and pharmaceutical industry practices. He also loves politics. He attended Howard Univ. in Washington, D. C. where he worked three years for U. S. Senator Sam Nunn of Georgia as a Legislative Asst. Supported by his family, he was able to overcome his disease, graduate from college (4yrs) and became successful in the many professional fields he chose to pursue. Working in areas of; equal employment opportunity (Shelby County, the City of Memphis, TN, and State of GA), pharmaceutical sales for Pfizer, Inc., human resources administration, and business communication and community affairs for Northrop Grumman, and EMS Technologies, educational collaboration for the Houston County Learning Network. He has developed and trained on; Ethics & Standards of Business Practices, Affirmative Action/ Equal Employment Opportunity, Compensation, Mediation, and Preparing For Tomorrow’s Workforce. |
