| Introduction | For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated with food. As a lad, my mum would let me have my share of the evening’s ingredients to do with as I pleased; I have been experimenting ever since. I come from a family of keen cooks. Both my parents and my two brothers appreciate good food and are confident cooks. My grandfather was a butcher and well travelled. He would try anything and encouraged us to do the same. He's 102 and still mobile so it must have done him some good! Tasty home-made food using quality ingredients because you are what you eat as they say! Every meal time is a chance for me to create something new; I love cooking for friends and family, my chief tasters! Watching others enjoy my food makes me very happy. I have an endless collection of recipe books, new and old. They motivate and inspire me but I rarely follow them. I get so much pleasure from creating my own variations as my wife and children would agree. They are forever telling me to write them down and so finally, here we are. Do comment when and where possible as I'd love to know what you think and I promise I will reply. Enjoy! |
