IntroductionIn the past, I've studied mathematics, operated U.S.Air Force radars and hacked Unix and Linux kernels. In 2008, I put aside my hacking (30 years was enough). I have previously attended, long ago, Reed College (Math BA) and Georgia Institute of Technology (Comp Sci MS). For one week in 2008 I was in the masters economics course at the Univ of North Texas, before family matters intervened. After retiring in 2008, I was active on FreeRepublic.com, then (when they could not tolerate my "truther" posts) iTulip.com, and since 2011 ProjectAvalon.net, where I am one of the site Administrators. In my youth, I was active in the feminist movement. In my middle age, I was a staunch Bush supporting Republican. In my old age, I am (in the view of my family) a tin-foil hat wearing, conspiracy theory nut case (grin). The "Python" in my screenname comes from one of my favorite programming languages, Python, and the "Cow" from fond memories of cows on my fathers farm.
InterestsMath, computers, physics, economics, nutrition, health, astronomy (mostly from eclectic, heretical or "alternative" viewpoints.)
