Introduction	I'm Mary Lou, a writer and music-maker now on coronavirus lockdown with my elderly mom in Los Angeles. Creator of the award-winning political anthem Not Going Back. Former writer and editor at The Los Angeles Times and a leader of social justice communications at The California Endowment health foundation. Proud daughter of a Mexican immigrant and native of Yuma, Arizona. Living life one day and one temperature check at a time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm Barbara, a sometime writer, frequent meditator. I believe the arc of the moral universe bends toward justice if we nudge it in that direction, so I help disrupt unfair systems when I can. For many years, I worked for justice reform at the Seattle Police Department, the King County Drug Court, the RAND Corporation and The California Endowment. These days I’m on corona watch, living with underlying health conditions and my 82-year-old dad in California’s Gold Country. My ancestors survived the Irish potato famine (also known as the British virus) and I know we can survive this.
