Introduction	BACKGROUND: The Vision Bearers realized that People With Disabilities (PWDs) especially in Busia Distict, had no CBO that could enable them advocate for their rights and freely access development programmes and empowerment this prompted the formation of Focus on Disability and Development (FODIDE). FODIDE is a Registered Community Based Organisation (CBO) which was founded in 2007 by committed and visionary people with Disabilities in Busia District, Eastern Uganda. FODIDE was officially registered In 2009. It has an organisation structure composed of the General Assembly (GA), Board Of Trustees (BOT), Executive Committee (EC) and The Secretariat. VISION: To have dignity amongst Persons With Disabilities (PWD) in the Society. MISSION: Transformation of livelihoods of persons with disabilities for self sustenance.
