| Introduction | We are Frank and Cindy Vrba, recent retirees who have traveled the Western US for many years. Our daughter Tracy is often with us and helps with driving. Tracy and Frank are also avid hikers. We all enjoy seeing nature, learning the history of an area and visiting museums. Tracy and her best friend Anne participate in the Nebraska Great Park Pursuit, as well. Besides Nebraska we hope to start adding the Eastern US in the coming years. National parks are favorite destinations. As of 2022, we have been to 27 of the 63 current parks. We first joined the Nebraska Passport in 2021. Everything worked out that year for us to visit all 70 stops. It was so enjoyable and interesting that we decided to keep going in 2022, when we again managed all 70 stops. Now, being retired, we hope to find all 70 stops open and take the time to actually visit each one, not just get a quick electronic stamp. We love trying out new restaurants either nearby or when traveling so, that works well for us when we are out visiting Passport stops. When we’re home, we enjoy touring anything we haven't been to and watching wildlife wherever we find it. |
