| Introduction | The Shiner Records story is a sad one. The recipe for this label's success involved lots of drinking, a little bit of gossiping, some backstabbing, one murder, two lunar landings, and of course, some damn fine music. Seriously folks, a few years ago KHYI (Dallas) General Manager Joshua Jones had a really cool project he was pitching to several record labels on behalf of Shiner Bock. Later he thought, why don't we just do this the right way and create OUR own label?! And thus the journey began... |
