Introduction	On September 23rd 2010 I found out that I have had Lyme disease for possibly 19 years. I spent 15 of those years trying every doctor and therapy I could find but without knowing what I was treating, none of it ever made a lasting impact on my overall health. I am starting this blog as a place to chronicle my journey (and my family's as well) through the rather slow process of treatment and recovery. Thank goodness there are lots of other people who have done the same and are already on the other side. I appreciate their information and it encourages me to keep going. Nothing here is anything close to medical advice. It's simply my personal emotional, mental, spiritual and physical adventure of coming back from many years of illness. My husband and I have been married for 7 years and have been pastoring a church in San Jose del Cabo Mexico for 6 of those years. We have two beautiful and darling daughters. Oksana, born April 2007 and Annika born May 2009. Both of them were born with congenital Lyme disease and so they are also along on this journey even though they are too young to understand.
