| Introduction | Timothea Biermann (born Dayton, OH 1974). Biermann studied at numerous art schools including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Parsons School of Design, Anderson Ranch Art Center and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. In 1995, Biermann graduated with honors from Maine College of Art and holds a BFA in ceramics. In 2011, Biermann earned an MA in painting from Savannah College of Art and Design. Presently, Biermann teaches visual art full time at Slavens K-8 School in Denver, and makes art which is often about cats. |
