Introduction | I started the Rock & Roll Library because I was astounded that there wasn't a comprehensive library documenting music and its history. I saw the inherent value of music in my life, culture, society, and economics and its potential as an educational tool. So how could there not be an institution devoted to preserving it? Now there is. Rock & Roll Library is building a free music history archive at RockLibrary.com & creating unique educational programs using music as a motivational and teaching tool to reach students who would otherwise slip through the cracks in our education system. |
