| Introduction | I'm a retired math/science teacher. I've been married 37 years (a rarity in this day and age), have 3 daughters, and 6 grandchildren. My husband and I live in Bellevue with our dog Chewbacca. We are fanatic Nebraska (Go Big Red!) fans. After retiring, I found that I needed to develop some hobbies that didn't involve physical activity. I love to sew and cook, and am also an avid football fan,pro and college. My hobbies seem to keep me busier than when I was teaching and raising 3 daughters and taking care of a husband. I never have enough hours in the day. My husband is presently remodeling an older house we bought, so I decided to try my hand at blogging, during the winter months. My main intention, with this blog, is to pass along the recipes that I love. I also wanted to archive some of the recipes from my relatives from the past. I have many collected recipes from family and friends. I am also an avid name brand recipe clipper. They look good. With only two of us,however, they are not pratical for everyday use. I hope you can use them for your parties or menus. |
