Introduction Elizabeth is a life-long, second-generation artist. She earned her degree in art from Colorado Institute of Art, and studied in Aubusson, France with master weavers of French tapestry. For over 40 years, she has taught workshops and classes in a variety of settings. In her teaching, Elizabeth sees her role as a facilitator in the creative process, assisting each student in discovering his/her own artistic voice. Elizabeth’s tapestries frequently are on view in museum venues, as well as in juried and invitational exhibitions, locally, nationally and in Canada. Her publications include: FiberArts Design Book V, and Carol K. Russell’s books: Contemporary International Tapestry and The Tapestry Handbook: the Next Generation.
