Introduction Peggy Cunningham and her husband, Chuck have been missionaries in Bolivia, South America, since 1981. In 1999, they founded Rumi Rancho Ministries. Rumi Rancho is their ministry base and home outside the city of Cochabamba where they work with the Quechua people and have a children’s ministry. They also work with national churches. As a writer, Peggy’s been published in anthologies, Christian magazines, and online publications. Her heart for children and vibrant imagination led the way to write her first picture book series, Really Rare Rabbits: Books 1-3. Peggy’s most recent series, Hooray for Holidays: Books 1-4 was inspired by the real-life animals of Rumi Rancho. And now she brings to life memories of friendships and fun from her own childhood in a new series––to be released soon. She also writes non-fiction devotionals for adults of all ages. Dancing Like Bees and Shape Your Soul are Peggy’s latest devotionals. All books are available on Amazon.com.
Interests I enjoy working with kids, and I also love to write. I contribute to several Christian publications regularly. The first book of my three-book children's series, Really Rare Rabbits was released in February, 2013 by Pix–N-Pens Publishing and is available on Amazon.com One of my greatest joys of the ministry in Rumi Rancho is teaching Bible and cooking classes to teen girls from 11 different communities near us. Helping my husband in his work is also a joy. Together we helped to start two churches. I am thankful God put us in the ministry and enables us to continue serving Him in Bolivia.
