Introduction	Hi, this blog is about Terry Alston's big adventure--bicycling across America, fulfilling a long-held dream. From his youthful cycling trips in England & Europe to his current immersion here in Tucson, AZ, he has always wanted to see America by Bike--for the beauty but also for the extreme challenge. At age 74, he figured he'd better get on with it and this was to be the year. So, he signed up with a company, America By Bicycle (ABB), and has joined about 40 other riders to cycle from Astoria, Oregon, to Portsmouth New Hampshire--a total of 3,668 miles. We drove up to Astoria together to see him off on June 20 and he'll finish on August 8, when I'll fly out to meet him. In between, we speak everyday and I get photos sent to me, so I created this blog. It's my first, so it's very basic. Hope you also enjoy the ride!
