| Introduction | Serendipity: making happy discoveries by accident. I am a wife, mother, grandmother. I live in Tennessee and love the Smoky Mountains. My favorite vacation spot is Destin, FL. I have a big Boxer dog named Sarge that is my Baby, now that all of my children are grown. I am also a new business owner and this first year in business has been a learning experience, to say the least! I retired early from my previous job and then decided to take our retirement funds that were quickly disappearing in the stock market and invest them into something that we "hope" will provide for us in our old age someday! What I have learned is that we have to take life one small step at a time, always diligently looking and being observant so that we can catch those serendipitous little surprises that come our way each day and then store them away so that we can savor them later in life when we might need them the most. Someone once told me that "God gave us memories, so we can have roses in winter!" Now that's good advice! |
