About me

Introduction	My mum inspired my passion for craft long, long ago and continues to create such beautiful things and give me tips and advice to this day. I remember sitting for hours practicing on the sewing machine, stitching straight lines on notepaper before advancing to fabric scraps to hone my technique. I think mum would say I was a good student but I don't think either of us would forget how much I hated (and how many tantrums resulted from) having to unpick my work!! Nevertheless... an important principle to learn and probably the start of the pursuit of perfection. These days (a good many years later), my husband and I share a passion for producing our own food (i.e. our vege patch) and enjoying the spoils of the things we can do/make ourselves at home, some of which, I think, are too good to keep to ourselves! I've never had a blog before so I am looking forward to this new creative challenge, designed to showcase my other creations.
