Introduction Thomas Gladysz is a longtime bookseller and widely published arts journalist. His reviews, articles and interviews have appeared in just about every newspaper in the San Francisco Bay Area, including the Marin Independent Journal, Oakland Tribune and Contra Costa Times. He has also written and blogged for the San Francisco Chronicle, Huffington Post, and elsewhere. His interview with Allen Ginsberg appeared in "Beat Memories: The Photographs of Allen Ginsberg" (National Gallery of Art). He also edited and wrote the introduction to the Louise Brooks edition of "The Diary of a Lost Girl" (PandorasBox Press), which was praised by Leonard Maltin as well by publications across Europe. Gladysz is the Director of the Louise Brooks Society, an online archive and international fan club dedicated to the silent film star which he founded in 1995. He has curated exhibits, organized events, contributed to books, appeared on radio & television, and introduced the actress's films around the world.
