HAVE BEEN WEB MASTER OF THE VALSETZOREGON.COM WEB SITE FOR WELL OVER 10 YEARS I moved into Valsetz,Or in the early fifties,from Falls City Or, with my father known as Slim, my mother Lois, and brother Pat. My mother and I left Valsetz in 1959 after my father John (Slim)Blackwell Died of Cancer,we had lost my younger brother Pat to a Pee Wee Baseball accident in the summer or 1957 Valsetz was a small mill town,residents all had a heart of gold, they gave my family a lot of comfort during the losse of my Dad and brother. This is why when you read my blogs will find so much wrote about the comunity and people I loved so much,and why I may resent Boise Cascade for BULLDOZING & and BURNING THIS SMALL TOWN. |
