Introduction | Vocalist/lyricist/originator of the symphonic extreme metal band Bal-Sagoth. Byron originally hails from Sheffield in Yorkshire, England, and also spent many years in Ontario, Canada, gaining dual citizenship as a result. He graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BA Honours degree in English. He came up with the idea for the band Bal-Sagoth around 1989. After several attempts to get the project up and running, it was finally unleashed upon an unsuspecting world in 1993. |
