Introduction This is a collection of my thoughts and experiences as an ALS caregiver and Breast Cancer survivor and is dedicated to my late husband William Neal Lichtig (Bill and to a rare few “Billy”), (October 4, 1955 to August 10, 2005) who taught us all how to live as ALS took his body. It is also dedicated to the many ALS patients, families, caregivers, and Breast Cancer survivors that I am privileged to know. "Never underestimate the power of a small group of dedicated people to change the world. Indeed, it's all that ever have." Margaret Mead
Interests Make the Journey Memorable!! I am dedicated to raising awareness of important, social/health related causes that are rarely discussed or affect a small patient population. I passionately believe * One person can absolutely make a difference. * We are all connected together by a fine golden thread - whatever we do to another, we do to ourselves. * There is no coincidence and there are no accidents - everything has meaning and purpose. * Doing well = doing good. * No one knows how long we have to live. Make every moment and every encounter matter.
