Introduction	My name is Laurie Griffin. I am a mixed media artist living deep in the heart of Texas! When not my art room, you can find me chasing my very adorable and very busy 6 yr. old daughter, hanging with my sweet husband, or keeping up with my 5 furry kiddos, A.K.A. dogs and cats. My work can be found on the web, at juried art shows in Texas, and at Random gift shop in Dallas, and Olive Street Art in Keller, TX. Home and family, everyday relics from the past, animals and nauture- all are things that inspire me. My favorite materials include all things red, pretty paper, antique text, old lace, junky bits and bobbles, anything rusty, dusty, loved on, worn out, a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered. And lots and lots of glue.
