Introduction	A life long learner who loves to knit and crochet. When I was kid I wanted to give my older brothers and sister gifts. The best way to do that was to make them something. So I crocheted dollies!!! Big White Starched Dollies. The 5 and 10 Woolworths had the crochet cotton and an array of small pattern books (which I still have in my attic). Most of the time I used the picture as a guide. I don't remember who taught me to crochet, but the crossing guard and my art teacher in grade 6 taught me how to knit. Well the rest is history, my stash is large and at this point on both sides of the continent.
