| Introduction | I've been envisioning this as a blog to discuss the books I've been reading and of course zombies. I'm a Southern gal who has loved to read since I first learned how. I will read anything and everything especially the back of cereal boxes. I used to love reading/watching anything in the horror genre, but that led to a lot of sleepless nights so I started my obsession with zombies. To me they are "safe horror" as a zombie apocalypse is not likely to happen versus serial killers, etc, but still scary enough to make me spill my popcorn now and then. Plus zombies appeal to my medical background. I love following the epidemiology of an outbreak and the causes of the zombie outbreak. It's also interesting to see how people react to disasters. The zombie apocalypse may not happen, but its good to be prepared. |
