| Introduction | I am a Christian, believer, Christ follower, disciple of Jesus, etc... that is, I just love the Lord Jesus Christ by any appropriate moniker. My gorgeous wife and I have 5 fabulous children (6, if you think my wife looks more like one of my kids). I love the Word of God and learning more about our Savior's finished work on the Cross and the power of His resurrection -- the Gospel. In light of that Gospel, I am on a mission -- God's mission. |

| Favorite books | Almost anything Paul David Tripp, John Piper, Sam Storms, Andreas Kostenberger (the best book on marriage and family available, e.g.), Donald Carson, commentaries, biblical theology, books on the mission of God, most anything put out by Christian Counseling Education Foundation, many books put out by Crossway publishers, many of John MacArthur's works (except for his commentaries). Nothing by Mark Driscoll unless it's co-authored by someone. :-), Gordon Fee, Craig Keener, Christopher J.H. Wright, Jack Miller, Charles Spurgeon, Richard Bauckham, etc. |
