Gender Male
Occupation Aspiring Writer
Location Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States
Introduction Born the last of three children (siblings are 10 and 13 years older) to a lower middle income couple, I was raised near the Arbuckle Mountains of south-central Oklahoma. I must admit that I had a golden chidhood. Good adolescence as well until my father died when I was 16. That shot the hell out of a lot things. But I survived, we usually do. I graduated from a small high school and matriculated into a small university in 1983. I graduated from said university (East Central U. in Ada, OK) in 1988. I attended graduate school (Anthropology) at the University of Oklahoma 1988-89. The academic year 1989-90 found me in Montreal, Quebec studying Anthropology at McGill University on a Rotary International Scholarship. Long story short, a nasty syndrome the main component of which is Addison's disease kept me from fulfilling my graduate degree. Today, I am a happily married man with aspirations of becoming a freelance writer. This is something I think a "disabled" man with some intelligence might possibly be able to succeed at.
