| Introduction | I've always loved music and grew up seeing live shows all over Manhattan. Somehow I survived developing "musical arthritis," just listening only to bands from my youth. In the fall of '08 I found myself seeing shows at Webster Hall three weeks in a row. I asked my friend if he thought it was the last gasp of my various mid-life crises.
