Introduction	A librarian and writer living in the UK. I'm in my first professional post as an Assistant Librarian in Harrogate having recently completed an MA Library and Information Management at Manchester Metropolitan University. I'm interested in libraries' role in academic/scientific research, new technologies in libraries, digital libraries, electronic cataloguing and metadata, and the advancement of Web 2.0 and 3.0.
