| Introduction | Wow, where to start...I've got the two best kids in the world! Wiley 7 and Romany 3 are my entire universe, and they bring joy to my life every day =) Other than trying to be Super Dad 24/7, I teach eighth-grade Language Arts, and ride my bike when my spare time allows...which brings me to the purpose of this blog...BIKES!!! I have had a passion for riding bikes since childhood, but it wasn't until December of 2009 that I decided to see where RACING bikes could take me. And what a whirlwind it has been since then! I started the 2010 racing season as a Category 5 racer (beginner), and within 3 months of my last race as a Cat 5, I had upgraded to a Category 2 racer. I represented Scenic City Velo (my local cycling club in Chattanooga, TN) for the majority of the season, but I finished the year as a member on the Krystal/Warp9bikes Pro12 racing team...and that is where we are today =) |
