| Introduction | I am currently the Superintendent of Central York School District. I am passionate about preparing students for a world that gets crazier by the day. I began my teaching career in Norfolk, VA as a Reading Teacher. Then, I returned to Pittsburgh as a High School English Teacher. On my way to becoming a Superintendent of Schools, I have served and garnered tremendous leadership lessons as an Assistant Principal, Principal, and Assistant Superintendent. Most recently, I was the Superintendent for 5+ years at Manheim Central School District. My core leadership tenet is everything rises and falls on relationships. Originally from Oakmont, PA, a suburb of Pittsburgh, I now reside in Lancaster, PA, with my wife and three kids. I am an avid reader; you’ll often find me running and ruminating after a great read.
