| Introduction | I never been in public political office, think of me as "Mr. Miller goes to Washington", since I am not Jimmy Stewart or Mr. Smith! Is the two party system broken? Today, we see a two-party system that has strayed away from our traditional notions of substantial justice and fairplay. Everyday we are lied to by politicians who are driven by special interests with little, if any, regard to what those who voted for them want, believe or desire. For decades, a majority of those of us in Colorado have chosen not to vote for the lesser of two evils by not voting at all. This behavior has not only spread to our state but is endemic throughout the U.S. Today, lobbyists draw more politicians than flies on cow-diddy. |
