Introduction I have had a love affair with food since the age of ten. Although my tastes have evolved since then, I am still pretty committed to finding and making the best pizza. I majored in nutrition for my undergraduate degree and got my Master's degree from Bastyr University for nutrition counseling. I have been a cook, server, and bartender at a handful of restaurants and conducted nutrition research for eight years. I am currently a content producer and recipe editor at the most lovely company. So it is safe to say that food is a passion and the basis for An Open Cookbook. I am also a yoga instructor and exercise enthusiast, so you may see some posts about being active as well.
