| Introduction | I am a designer and artist living and working in south west London and after years of paying over inflated rent, facing ever increasing bills and a serious lack of outside space my husband and I decided to embark on a new adventure; We swapped our small flat in Twickenham for an even smaller wooden boat, a pied-a-terre on the Thames. We would live here in the week and escape to the comfort of the in-laws at the weekend. It is a chance to save some cash whilst living in easy reach of the city and try an alternative way of living. This blog is to document our new life afloat and share all our trials and tribulations along the watery way. |
