| Esittely | I'm a wannabe homesteader living in the city with my tech-geek fiance, 2 cats, and a dog. We're both recovering from debt (college, mostly) and can't afford a great big old farmhouse... yet! While we save up for a nicer place, I'm working on my garden, trying to stay sane in my stressful retail job, and searching for the best way to keep chickens in a tiny city yard (really it's more about convincing the Geek than anything).
I'm also still in love with Mexico. Study Abroad is awesome, and do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Everyone should have the experiences of being made to feel inept by a two-year old, haggling with foreign taxi drivers, and buying streetside tacos which may or may not include horsemeat. I speak Spanish, which is not a relevant homesteading skill but is definitely one I'm proud of having. |
