Introduction I'm a 30-something independent woman of God. I'm a single-mother to a miracle who is now a handsome 7 year old, a friend, a daughter, the neighbor lady, the girl next door, a student, a pastor/minister, a philanthropist, a theologian, a missiologist, a woman in ministry, a sinner, a saint, a sister, a leader, a modern day women's suffragist, a freedom fighter, a writer, a fashionista, a play write, a dreamer, a realist, an actress, an optimist, a poet, a teacher, an artist... I am a woman of worth far above rubies; the way God created me to be.
Interests I have many passions and interests. I love music, art, photography, traveling, embroidery, theater, ministry, mission work, volunteering, being a mommy, making memories with friends, sports: football and hockey fan, shoe shopping, reading, writing, blogging, coffee on a brisk autumn night, lemonade on a hot summer day, scrapbooking, ...and so much more.
Favorite Movies Gone with the Wind, I Am, Midnight in Paris, The Breakfast Club, Roman Holiday, Love Actually, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Casablanca, Practical Magic, Something's Gotta Give, Eat Pray Love, anything playing on TCM (I love black and white classic movies) and soooo much more. I love watching kiddo movies with Hambone.
Favorite Music Contemporary Christian and Inspirational, Country, Jazz Standards, Rock n' Roll, Opera, Classical, 80's, 40's. My musical tastes are very eclectic...I love just about everything.
Favorite Books The Bible, Redeeming Love, Left to Tell: Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust (I recommend EVERYONE read this book...it will change your life), The Sunflower, Gone with the Wind, Catcher in the Rye, The Atonement Child, (anything by Francine Rivers), Eat Pray Love, the Twilight series, Joyce Meyer books, books on Traveling, theology books, motherhood books, political books and books on social injustice...this list could be endless.
