| Introduction | I am an Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX . I earned my PhD in Media Studies from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012. I conduct qualitative research on teens’ digital media practices and teach courses on social media and communication technologies. Outside of research and teaching, I enjoy reading, craft beer, training for marathons, and traveling. Oh, and I love Sooner football, Boomer!
