Introduction	This blog is about art,and some of the broader aspects of art. Also some poems and writings. I started painting to inspire my old Dad to recommence his artworks. Alas - Dad has not bothered to put brush to canvas, but my painting has taken on a life of its own. I commenced painting in oils and am currently painting only in acrylics. I love both mediums. I intend to work in oil, acrylic and watercolor for most of my artwork. I am currently producing about two paintings a week. I paint landscape, seascape, and snowscape. I mix them one for one with what I call "close ups" or portraiture of people, plants and animals. I am also producing some postcard size abstract canvases. My favourite painter is Monet! PS. Dad has finally pick up a brush!!
